Student Teacher Supervisors/Cooperating Teacher Payment Program
Any Kentucky school teacher who is supervising a student teacher for an in-state accredited college or university, who has a valid Kentucky teaching certificate or license for each grade and subject taught, and at least 3 years teaching experience is eligible for compensation from the Commonwealth of Kentucky
Teachers who supervised student teachers for the 2011-2012 school year have been paid. Money was sent to the districts at the end of May and should have been distributed to the teachers on a June paycheck. Checks were mailed to the homes of the non-public school teachers. If you believe you have not been paid by your district or did not receive a check at your home, please let the EPSB know.
In 2011-12, Kentucky school teachers were paid $15.85 per week of supervisory work or $126.82 for eight (8) weeks of supervision.
